THE MIRADORO

The name Miradoro, meaning viewpoint in Portuguese, reflects the vision of Eduardo Souto de Moura, a renowned Portuguese architect who won the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2011, the Wolf Prize in Arts, and most recently the Praemium Imperiale in 2025.

His minimalist design philosophy masterfully integrates local materials with neo-Miesian principles, creating an exquisite blend of proportion, color, and structural elegance. Miradoro is his first building in the USA.

With 7 refined residences above vibrant retail, Miradoro translates panoramic views into lived experience. Each residence features three expansive outdoor rooms that frame views of M Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. At the gateway to Georgetown, Miradoro stands as a contemporary landmark of quiet elegance—world-class architecture, incomparable location, and a legacy designed to endure.
Eduardo Souto de Moura
This building embodies the best of Washington DC. Miradoro is my response: architecture that frames not just views, but a way of seeing and living in this remarkable city.
